As such, it’s tough to decide which places truly deserved to be called the best.

From coastlines to huge cities, the United States of America is one of the best countries to visit. If you already have a trip to the US planned soon, you definitely want to know what some of the must-visit places are.

While it is nearly impossible to list all the wonderful places that the USA is home to, we’ve listed down some of the most must-go places in the USA that we think you should add to your checklist.

1. The Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon National Park offers some of the best and most inspiring views that America has to offer. The Grand Canyon itself is a 277-mile long canyon. The Colorado River weaves its way through the length of this magnificent canyon and is the top destination to try whitewater rafting.

However, this wonder has a lot more to offer other than whitewater rafting. You can even hike through Arizona Park. Whatever way you choose to spend your time at the Grand Canyon, you’re sure to feel tiny in front of this massive rock formation!

2. Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, situated along the border of the US and Canada, is one of the most famous waterfalls in the world. It is known for the massive quantity of water that tumbles over a vertical drop constantly. Water from Lake Erie in the US flows into Lake Ontario in Canada. Niagara Falls is a set of three waterfalls; Horseshoe Falls being the largest, followed by American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. It is flooded with tourists most of the time, though, so you need to choose the right time to visit it!

3. Statue of Liberty

Statue of Liberty is arguably the most familiar landmark in the United States of America. This symbol of freedom stands 152-feet tall in New York City Harbor. It can be admired from various points in the city, with Battery Park being the best view-point. You can either get ground tickets, crown tickets, or pedestal tickets, depending on which level you wish to visit.

If you want to go inside the statue, you should consider getting tickets in advance because you never know, you might not get a turn otherwise!

4. Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park has been made around the dramatic landscape that itself is the result of a mighty ancient volcano. It has hot springs, geysers, and incredible waterfalls along the length of the Yellowstone River. Huge numbers of tourists are attracted to Yellowstone National Park every year, and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t visit this breathtaking park.

It is America’s oldest national park that has free-roaming bison, antelope, bighorn sheep, grizzly bears, black bears, and of course, the remarkable natural phenomena!

5. Times Square

New York City’s Times Square needs no introduction. Its flashing billboards, the countdown on New Year’s Eve, and a flood of people at all times back up the statement that New York is the city that never sleeps! Times Square is a spot in New York that infuses a full-load of energy in anyone who happens to be there. It is not just a hustling place during the day but one of the best places to be during the night!

6. Walt Disney World Resort

We’ve all grown up watching cartoons like Mickey Mouse and other Disney cartoons, so what could be better than being able to live in the Disney world for once? The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando is one of the most popular family attractions in America. It has been catering to children and adults alike since 1971. It has numerous theme parks, water parks, theaters, and shopping spots. Whether you’re up for some fun or fine dining, you’ll find it all at the Walt Disney World Resort.

7. St. Louis Arch

St. Louis Arch is referred to as the ‘Gateway to the West.’ It is an incredibly eye-catching structure that rises high above the city of St. Louis. It gleams against the sun during the day and illuminates under the moonlight at night. It is so huge that it can be seen from several miles away.

It was built in the 1960s and is now a major tourist attraction, with elevators to take visitors to the top from where they can enjoy breathtaking views of the entire city and its surroundings.

There is a reason why people who’ve been to the US can’t stop bragging about it. The country is full of life and attractions for tourists. Once you’ve been to the US, you’ll want to go again and again and still find new attractions every time! However, this list of must-go places in the USA will help you get off to a good start on your trip to the States.
